Draft pending legal review. This document was prepared as a starting point and has not yet been reviewed by a Nigerian-qualified lawyer. Values marked like this must be completed, and the whole document verified against our actual data practices, before it is relied upon. Remove this notice once that review is complete.
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit predictabooks.com or contact us about early access. We are committed to handling your information lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where it applies to you, other data protection law such as the UK/EU GDPR.
1. Who we are
Integrated Daily Acc Limited, trading as PredictaBooks (“PredictaBooks”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
| Registered name | Integrated Daily Acc Limited |
|---|---|
| RC number | [CAC RC NUMBER] |
| Registered address | 12B Parkers Close, Magodo GRA Phase 2, Shangisha-Ketu, Lagos |
| Data protection contact | admin@predictabooks.com |
| NDPC registration | [DATA CONTROLLER REGISTRATION NO., IF REGISTERED] |
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and email enquiries about early access. PredictaBooks is in early access and the product application is still being built — when it becomes available it will have its own privacy notice covering the financial data it processes, and you will be asked to review that separately. Nothing in this policy should be read as describing how the product handles your business or banking records.
3. Personal data we collect
This website has no forms, no accounts and no sign-up. We collect:
| Category | How it reaches us |
|---|---|
| Information you choose to send — your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your business | Only if you email us, for example by using a “Request early access” or “Contact” link |
| Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time | Recorded automatically in our hosting provider’s server logs when your browser requests a page |
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors. See our Cookie Notice for detail.
4. Why we process it, and our lawful basis
Under section 25 of the NDPA we must have a lawful basis for each purpose:
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and assessing whether your business fits the current early-access round | Consent, and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract |
| Keeping the website available, secure and working correctly | Legitimate interest in operating and protecting our service |
| Meeting legal, regulatory or record-keeping obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not carry out profiling on this website.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use the following service providers, who act as our data processors:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Hosting) | Serves this website; generates server request logs |
| Google (Workspace / Gmail) | Hosts our @predictabooks.com email, so it holds any message you send us |
| Google (Fonts) | Delivers the typefaces used on this site; receives your IP address as part of that request |
We will never share your information with a lender without asking you first. Any future matching of your records to funding providers will be something you actively choose, on terms explained to you at that point.
6. Transfers outside Nigeria
Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside Nigeria. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards permitted by Part IX of the NDPA — including contractual protections with those providers — so that your data keeps an adequate level of protection. You can ask us for details.
7. How long we keep it
- Email enquiries — kept while we are in contact and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Server logs — retained by our hosting provider for a limited period as part of normal operations and security monitoring.
8. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used — this policy.
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- Restrict or object to our processing, including processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Lodge a complaint with the regulator.
To exercise any of these, email admin@predictabooks.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the NDPA. There is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) at ndpc.gov.ng. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
9. How we protect your data
The website is served over HTTPS. We apply access controls to our email and hosting accounts and keep the number of people who can see enquiries small. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach occurs that is likely to cause you harm, we will notify you and the NDPC as the NDPA requires.
10. Children
PredictaBooks is a service for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
